User Experience Design for Oracle

Oracle Academy’s free program offers online learning resources and technologies for individual students, faculty members, colleges, and universities. Their online portal was not correctly aligned with their target market and was failing to establish any sign-ups for the Academy program.

Seton was approached to improve the online customer journey and create simple step-by-step user guides that made it easy for users to follow the sign-up process. We took a human-centered design approach by starting with the end user and journey mapping their steps to the final sign up. The end result was a simplified and clear online instruction with supporting downloadable pdf step-by-step user guides for each of the targeted user groups.

Clyde BioSciences Rebranding

Clyde Biosciences is a spin out of Glasgow University and was founded in 2012 by researchers at the University to commercialise technology developed through BBSRC-funded research. In April of 2015, Clyde Biosciences secured a £2 million ‘Series A’ investment which enabled the organisation to begin to expand and commercialise. Following a credentials presentation soon afterward, Seton was tasked to rebrand and help reposition the organisation to that of a world leader in cardiac safety testing.

The new rebrand was rolled out at the Safety Pharmacology Society conference in Prague on September 2015. Since then Clyde Biosciences have gone onto open up research facilities in Maryland in the USA.
